EPISODE NOTES

Fear. This powerful driver within us can either keep us small or be leveraged to help us grow.

As an actress, film producer, and entrepreneur, Rebecca De Ornelas is very familiar with fear. For the first 13 years of her career she let fear take the leading role. Rather than trusting her intuition she found herself following whatever others thought she should be doing. Despite learning she was great at many things she found herself feeling confused and doing work that left her unfulfilled.

Then in 2019 things came into focus. Through a series of major events Rebecca found herself aligned for the first time and motivated by her intuition rather than fear. On this episode, we discuss:

  • Her journey to dealing with anxiety and fear

  • Finally listening to her intuition instead of shutting it out

  • Recovering our individual narratives

Rebecca is the founder of The Story Artisan, a company focused on helping people discover, develop, and deliver unforgettable stories. She also hosts of The Waystation, a podcast of shared human experience. Rebecca's film The Sleepless premiered at the 2020 Big Apple Film Festival and was named Best U.S. Feature by the New York Independent Cinema Awards. Her films can be seen on Amazon Prime and iTunes.
